(no subject)
i've been in costa rica for 2 weeks so far.
here's what it's been
-tiring from class everyday at eight/tiring from concentrating on what everyone is saying all the time
-going out every night
-imperial beer/rock ice limon (.60 cents each)
-acing my midterm
-volcanoes
-butterflies landing on my hands
-waterfalls close enough i got soaked
-the beach!
-meeting a small monkey on the beach
-tons of hw.
-listening to music alone in my room
-a parrot that hates me because it thinks i'm a foreign bird because of my hair
-loneliness
-100 kids i chit chat with
-writingwritingwriting
-3 locks to get into my house
-a 14 yr.old brother and a 12 year old sister
-breakfast and dinner actually being "horrifying stories about costa rica" hour
-HOTHUMIDWEATHER
-everyone considering me a 'gringa'
-feeling like i'm back in highschool (NOT IN A GOOD WAY..if there ever was one)
i miss my best friends, and my family,but it doesn't really get to me unless I look at pictures a lot. there are some really frustrating things here. i'm trying to volunteer at a women's clinic and yesterday was amazing.i just wish i liked the kids here more than in passing.
2 1/2 more months.
