1000 handshakes in a day

This morning we have a halal-bihalal - an Indonesian tradition, held in weeks following the Idul Fitri in which co-workers, circle of friends, etc meet to ask forgiveness from each other with the words "Maaf lahir batin". Because I'm a teacher, it meant: more than 1000 handshakes in a day. I washed my hands after that, of course. The young religion teacher was again teased by students and teachers alike. Poor him, but he's unconsciously funny.
Somebody sent me an e-mail accusing me of being a supporter of the USA and all that 0___O What the fuck? As if he knew me! And he sent that to me because of a post I made about a year ago in a mailing list, criticizing an 'Islamic' book, something written with a lack of knowledge. Hey, I was not attacking my own religion. I was attacking people who wrote things without enough knowledge or base. Byuh.
