So there's going to be a film for Twilight? According to a magazine I read, its genre is 'fantasy / romantic / horror'. Er, I think we have another term for it. Harlequin: Nocturne.
Yeah I'm sorry but I find most vampires boring and overused. When Sherina said she loved vampires,
lemoneko commented, "Biasa banget." LOL
My sister said the things that she especially doesn't like reading are the ones about 'the sea, yuppies, and urban high-class'. The seasickness was what deterred her from enjoying Joan Aiken's Night Birds on Nantucket. I thought I had always been seasick enough thanks to Joseph Conrad, but I like Dido Twite and so I began reading the book. And it was enjoyable! I love Arun, I love Simon of Battersea, and now... I've fallen in love with Nate too. Aiken's boys are awesome (er, except for Felix maybe...)
Finished reading the latest book in Artemis Fowl series. As always, an Artemis Fowl book always seems uninteresting at first, but as I keep on reading, the story captures me and I always finish the book thinking “Wow, that was good. I like how the plot somehow always turns out quite unexpected, and I like the world Colfer builds.”
Well, JRP was extremely disappointing, but at least I got this there:
Holy City Rollers The First Chapter of Allordia Premium Pack, #177
EP, DVD, shirt, stickers, pin, and a cardboard case
It looks nice, isn’t it? Holy City Rollers are one of the hottest Jakartian bands, meshing their New York/London influences together. Oh, they’re using Indlish instead of English *laughs* but whatever. Their music’s cool enough to attract me and make me buy that Premium Pack. The video for The Kingdom of Allordia is quite interesting (the song is about an imaginary kingdom-haha, I remember Albion-the king of which is ‘still looking for his queen’. And since the name of the EP is ‘The First’ then I expect more chapters coming). And if you’re not satisfied with the low-quality taped live performance they provided along with the music videos, you might want to catch them live somewhere near you.
Reminds me. I missed their live performance in Score because I was away in Puncak. Grrrh.
This is the video for 'Kingdom of Allordia'.
And I decided to be silly (i.e. spending money when I don’t need to) and added this green-and-purple ornament to my bedroom:
The Joker figure from CocoCrunch.
Teeth figure from Friskies, cat picture not included.
