The editing process of my novel is being carried out online :D
How very useful is the internet at times like this, eh? Bayou and I can have a live discussion and fix the parts together.
The novel was meant to be a standalone, but she said we could expand it into a series. We both got so excited :D I've already got ideas for the next book, and Bayou said she had hers too - "Why don't we have a collaboration?"
Excellent! I'd really love to work with her! We both love children literature. Funnily enough, although I've known her for years, I didn't know this side of her. When she said to me, "Why don't we have this part like this..." I suddenly felt like finding half of my soul that I'd been searching for :D Hahahahah, lebai.
Hey, if
lemoneko holds the other half, then what do I really have? LOL
Finished reading The Penderwicks. And excellent book, full of the delight of children and teens, and the translation is very-well done too. What I really like about the book is the close relationship between the sisters and also between them and their father. And how Jeffrey, although his mother is far from being a perfect mother/woman, does not violently rebel against her. I'm tired of "Ooooh I hate my mother, here, die mom!" attitude. He does not say or anything bad to her, but he chooses to stand firm and tell his mother clearly what he wants. "She's my mother after all." JEFFREY *hugs*
Dang it. Elda told me that she saw the new B's Log at PS. I think after I'm done with all invigilating today, I'll go to Kino PS to buy it. Oh my money, where art thou going?
