Some highlights of my life lately:
- Going to Cibubur Junction with
lemoneko - bingeing in Secret Recipe. "But isn't this restaurant owned by Malaysians?" "Ach what the hell."
- Meeting with
Omoikane in Plaza Senayan. So? We're in the progress of creating our second publication, a Persona 3 fanbook that will be called 'NASTEA MIX'. Look forward to it!
- Drowning in F. Scott Fitzgerald's This Side of Paradise - somehow I relate with Amory Blaine.
- Watching Mando Diao's TV and Me - I wouldn't believe in dark-haired Scandinavian anymore. There were some mysterious gropings around. AND ECH JUST REALISED NOW I HAVEN'T GOT THEIR LATEST ALBUM OH WELL.
Some conversation with
tyrant-mouth:
"You know that manga, Sakura Tetsu? That's very post-modernist."
"Hmmm. And have you got the example of a post-modernist film? What about Tristam Shandy?"
"Yes, it is. The novel was also a preliminary of post-modernist novels."
"Oh, so it is really mentioned in your book?" (She's just got the Postmodernism Reader.) "I was just saying the first thing that came across my mind."
"24-Hour Party People is also post-modernist."
"Why do all of them have Steve Coogan in it? Don't tell me 80 Days Around the World is also post-modernist..."
