What a coincidence. My sister’s MP3 player (which I’m listening to) is playing Arctic Monkeys’s Baby I’m Yours as I’m writing this. LOLZ. And then it’s Patrick Wolf’s The Magic Position: “It’s you who puts me in the magic position darling / to live, to learn, to love in the major key.” Then what’s best next but Guillemots!’s Made-Up Lovesong #43: I love you through sparks and shines and dragons, I do.”
My God, I’m cheap. LOL.
So if you don’t see me for a while, that’s because I’ll be FedExing myself to Dan as a birthday present. LOL. (lemoneko said she would do the same thing to herself - but she’d send herself to currently-injured Xabi.)

Turin Brakes are still releasing albums. I’ve only listened to one single (Dark on Fire) off the new album, and I’m amazed of how Turin Brakes stay true to their music all this time. I still remember the first time I listened to Mind Over Money; how the song (and the video) gave me a chill.

OK, so I just got the time to fully listen to the Chara CD Collection: Mamahara Ellie’s Yakyuu Tengoku that I have downloaded aeons ago. (i.e. When Denny hadn’t come and taken over my desk :P)
The guy who played Uno has a very, very cute voice that really fits his role. (Sorry, I have the list of the seiyuu from the booklet, but I can’t read their names…) You wouldn’t think that Uno’s the seme of the relationship-well, that’s exactly what the manga shows us. Ogata must be the seme, right? Wrong! Genki Uno is the one! XD
Track 10, or Sex Track, made me think: “Alright, in the manga the sex scene is not implicit and only a couple of panels long… BUT THIS SCENE HAS LASTED FOR MORE THAN THREE MINUTES ON THE CD… WHAT THE HELL WERE THE SEIYUU DOING DURING THE RECORDING SESSION???????” My head would have blown up if I hear ‘Ogata-san, Ogata-saaaanhhh’ more than 5 minutes. The effect of ‘Ogata-san’ coming out from a seme is probably… errrr… somehow sexier rather than if Uno says ‘Chiakihhh’?
The bonus track (in which Erechi, the mascot of Tokyo Elephants, goes missing) is also very funny. I ROTFLed when I heard Uno screaming “EREEEEECHIIIIIII…. COME BAAAAACKKKK!”
Ogata, Uno, Bobby, Abe, Esaka… I just love Tokyo Elephants. Ellie must make more stories about them! (They previously appeared in Gokuraku Café, when Esaka was still the pitcher.) Now I need to download the scanlations - at bloody last available. Hurrah!
