Oh well. Since I can’t marry Danny V (no women can, is that enough clue for you bitches?) I’m going back to Daniel K. Hell, why is everyone named Daniel???
missriboet was right: Guillemots are great. I got the album, by the way, Gem. Am also listening to the latest albums by these: Maxïmo Park, The Cooper Temple Clause, Jarvis, The Rakes, Modest Mouse. Also falling in love immensely with British Sea Power (yes I’m late etc.) Now I know why all the cool people talk so much about BSP.
And there are many other albums… Dogs, Boy Kill boy, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Explosions in the Sky, etc etc… I wonder how many months will take me to listen to them all. BUT WHY DIDN’T MATT SEND ANYTHING RELATED WITH NEWRAVE? Oh well, I can forgive the absence of New Young Pony Club etc, but… WHERE ARE KLAXONS?????? But then he didn’t even send any Micah P. Hinson, so… *shrugs* Erm, I forgot whether he ever sent any album by Patrick Wolf.
AND THE NEW ALBUM BY TCTC IS JUST GREAT. Perhaps the best album they’ve ever produced so far; the sounds are rich and diverse, Ben’s singing voice is very emotional (but Dan and Tom also sing, yes?). They prove that they don’t really need that monkey (by that of course I mean Didz, now flirting with Carla in Dirty Pretty Things). I think some of the songs are dedicated or about Didz, and they only go to show that ‘Dear Didz, the band’s alright without you, love (or the lack of it), Ben, Tom, Kieran, Jon, Dan’.
OH MY GOD I SO NEED TO CONFIRM THIS.
I.
LOVE.
