SAMUEL ZYLGWYN HECKENBUCKER’S GORY GALLERY

WHAT? Ekskul DVD.

HOW MUCH?IDR 39K. (That’s about US$4)

WHAT DO YOU GET FROM IT? The film (7/10) with its strange cinematography, some unnatural scenes, some very natural dialogues and an astonishing performance by Ramon Y. Tungka; a dizzying ‘Behind the Scene’ (5/10) in which the producer tried to convince us that this film aims to make teachers and parents care more about their children; trailers of unnecessary films such as Rantai Bumi.

WHAT DOES IT LACK? Some more logic.

WHO WILL BE GLAD TO OWN IT? Fans of Ramon Y. Tungka; youngsters who watched Zylgwyn’s TV series Bintang; perverted fans who love to see a young boy clad in blood who moaned and cried in about 3/5 of the film. (Urm, I fulfill all of those criteria….)

WHAT DID SAMUEL ZYLGWYN HECKENBUCKER GET IN THE FILM? Several kicks on the belly and on the head(and probably some others on the balls? Hell if I know); a push through a glass pane; some hair pulling; some punches; a gun on his temple. I forgot if Ramon also hit him with a baseball bat.

Notes to Zylgwyn:
Zyglwyn tersayang, if you read this, please bear in mind that I really really really love you. And I love Ramon too.

AT THE END OF THE DAY… You have spare money? Buy the DVD. Quick, before Zylgwyn’s adolescent admirers buy all of the copies. The VCD has been sold out in several stores!
