I wrote a lot of things last week but most of them have fallen out of relevance, so…

These two are new though:

1. Although I had decided to withdraw my support to England, I felt genuinely sad when I watched England’s demise and saw Gary Neville looking so miserable after the game ended. I always love him and I realized that it’s perhaps his last chance to lift the cup. If England had won the Cup, I’d celebrate it just over Gary. But then somehow I was glad England lost… because it’d make those WAGs shut up. Ugh! I despise them, really!

2. Etik said Portugal winning the cup would be ‘the worst possibility’, but I’d love to see Portugal and Italy in the Final. Which side wins doesn’t really matter. Germany… I love the officials more than the team. I mean, Klinsi. Ollie. And Klinsi’s assistant. They’re far cooler than Ballack. Hahah. But France seems to be a good alternative right now, just to shut Le Pen’s nasty mouth.

One theory states that the US might be friendlier towards the rest of the world if only it loves football (Americans would call it soccer!) as much as every other country in the world does. That’s an interesting, plausible theory. We here often jocularly say, "The Americans are so cut off from the world that they love things nobody else loves and they know nothing about things that everybody else loves!" (But then Canadians are so stereotyped with the love towards ice hockey and they by far are fine by me.)
Well, football is for all, and if we can create a better world through it, why, every one is welcome to taste the beauty and love. And the US has done quite well in the World Cup. Not every country can send its team to the colossal four-yearly celebration. So I think the future of football in the US is quite bright.

I hope Gianluca Pessotto will be alright. Shake off your mafia-conspiracy theory, Miu-chan, he’s not involved with the current Serie A scandal; he’s new in the manager seat. But if it’s true that the reason is personal, he should haven’t jumped off from the Juventus office, eh.

And lemoneko is now sure that she shares similar tastes with gay men, after I told her that the Dutch Gay Krant has chosen Cristiano Ronaldo as gay men’s most favourite man with Kaka as the runner-up. Well, I too have to own up to some perversion, what with me watching Zylgwyn’s (or, since Miu-chan likes to abbreviate his full name, ‘SZH’) arse on a daily basis. And why am I now suddenly so into arses? *laughs uncontrollably*

Note: Miu-chan, I like Lionel Messi, despite you saying his face looks too old for someone his age. Have mercy on someone who went through hormonal troubled times. He could have been a dwarf, you know, if only those hormones didn’t come into rescue. ;P

FIFA has decided to put a ban on countries practising racism in football from playing international games. A bit too late, but finally! Stuff that into your mouth, Le Pen! And you, Ukrainian coach, whatever your name is, for saying that African players are monkeys taken off from trees and given bananas!

The lamest remark on football players I heard lately: "Maniche memang manis", Maniche is sweet, in the TV program ‘Sportif’ in ANTV.

Bayer Repercussion.
