GUILTY AS CHARGED.

tyrant and I were watching The Story of the Cure in O Channel last Tuesday when we switched to antv and saw… an FTV (you’d call it a TV movie in the US) starred by Ramon Y. Tungka (Definitely my most favourite Indonesian actor at the moment, because he can always pull a great performance. I’d nominate him for a Citra.), Jonathan Mulia and Agus ‘Ringgo’ Rahman.

I called lemoneko, and she answered after some good tens of seconds of James Blunt’ You’re Beautiful (her waiting tone).
"Where are you?"
"A cybercafe." (Later I knew that she was YM-ing with Boop.)
"Go home! There’s Ramon and Jonathan on TV. Komeng also texted me about it."
"Eh! What film?"
"An FTV. They fool around. With Ringgo. They’re depressed because they’ve never been kissed when even the chairman of the Muslim Student Committee has been kissed seven times by girls."
"Oh, so they’re going to practice kissing with each other?"
"Just go home."

And then Vino G. Bastian appeared and I called her again.
"I’m still here."
"There’s Vino. Go home!"
"OH GODDAMMIT."
Well, Vino only appeared about eight seconds, making faces, and Ramon’s words about him were, "Oh, that one? The tall one? The one with the ugly face and ‘polem’* hairdo?" My sister and I laughed hysterically, "Vino, that’s all you’ve got to do in this film?"

* That’s how you would call Bloc Party’s Russel’s hairdo in Indonesian slang.

Oh, I’ve to check myself from babbling lovingly about Ramon. He’s a great actor, plus he’s cute, and even his body looks cute… ahem.
The funny thing about the FTV was that actually Ramon, Jonathan, and Ringgo all wear glasses. But they would look like a trio of dorks if all of them did wear their glasses. So I guess it was, "Hands up whose sight is so poor that he can’t do without glasses." And it was Jonathan.

Ah, and it’s too bad lemoneko didn’t watch Zypltk that afternoon. He actually talked! Quite a lot! LOL ! But his words that I remember the most is, "Get off!" He MUST be an expert in saying that. *bangs head repeatedly against the table* No, that really gave me nasty thoughts. Forget it. And my sister asked, "How old is he? His body hasn’t reached the… erm, full shape." I’M GUILTY OF LOVING BOYS THAT ARE FAR YOUNGER THAN I AM. GUILTY AS CHARGED. YOUR VERDICT PLEASE.

My brother asked me, "Who’s Bis?" (He just got a Smiths tribute album - featuring Placebo, The High Llamas, Muse, Supergrass, The Boo Radleys etc.)
I answered, "Good that you don’t know." And I meant it.

(I’ve prepared a pretty lengthy piece about why I read ‘Holy Blood, Holy Grail’, but unless somebody asks why, I don’t think I will put the answer here, at least for the moment. But in short, it’s not because of Da Vinci Code, it’s not for any reasons of faith, it’s just an Arthurian/history enthusiast’s desire for more.)

I met Daniel last Friday. He’s taking his doctorate in George Washington University (bypassing Magister’s degree) and is now in Indonesia to conduct a research on freshwater fishes. His complexion is still bright, his eyebrows thick, his mindset agnostic, but the hairdo he currently sports enhances his handsomeness by 10 times. He offered me to join his research, but unfortunately it will be carried on from the end of June through to the beginning of August, and I was like, "Oh no can do. I’ve got my schedule up until July." Besides, he’s going to Middle Aceh (amongst other destinations) while Aceh is the province I’m avoiding.
We then ate lunch together, talking about so many things and laughing over many silly things. I then went to Erlangga to collect my payment and do some work, and then I got home amidst a heavy rain with lemoneko.

The rain was sure heavy, but in Bogor it was even worse. I hope the ones living in Bogor are alright? And it’s a pity that the Botanical Garden were severely ruined. The trees are tens or even a hundred years old, it will take tens or a hundred years to have trees equivalent with the ones damaged. Some trees in my area also fell, but the situation’s not as bad as in Bogor.
