Hey, I like this new single from Richard Ashcroft. Am I going to buy his new album? I don't know...
Oh yes forgot... Happy Idul Adha, all who celebrates it.
I found Das fliegende Klassenzimmer! What a relief! I even found another adaptation of Kästner’s novels, Emil und die Detektive. *bounces happily* I found them at a small obscure record store at Bintaro Plaza.
Theo in the film actually smokes; it happens so early in the film that I missed it when I watched it at the first time. My sister asked me what ‘Der Schöne’ means and I told her and she laughed. (Wait, maybe I messed up a bit, in the credit title his name is written as ‘Der schöne Theo’. My German is so rudimentary nowadays that I no longer recognize whether ‘schöne’ is an adjective or a noun.) She also mentioned that Sebastian Koch, who played as Nichtraucher, looks like and old Brandon Flowers. Well he is! Look at this!
Wow, I’m relieved, so know we know that twenty years later Brandon will still look as handsome as he is today (??). And
lemoneko has decided to make a DFK fanvid using a Killers' song as the soundtrack :P Nichtraucher’s most interesting line, however, is the one he said to Justus, "Don’t tell the children how I behaved last night." I fell face first off my hide-a-bed.
Theo: "I don’t think they need any punishment, Dr Bökh, they were just helping their friends."
Matz: "You’re ill, aren’t you?"
Justus: "On the contrary. He’s showing signs of recovery."
Still after the conversation in Justus’ office, Matz always thinks that Theo is ‘ill’. XD And it makes me wonder how Theo’s roommates must feel - having a roommate who applies beauty mask on his face before going to sleep every night XDD Every one must know about Theo’s antics, because they laugh outloud when Matz shouts "And heavy make-up for Theo!" during dinner when they’re talking about the preparation for the upcoming Christmas show :)
Last Tuesday I went to
lemoneko and we ‘traded’ folders. I gave her my Nicky Kantor folders and she copied me her Hauke Diekamp, Hans Broich-Wuttke, and Francois Goske ones. MY GOD I REALLY LOVE HAUKE DIEKAMP. ("Jawn!" shouted my sister.) He’s such a perfect Jonathan - I really thanked him for wonderfully bringing to live the character that I have loved since my childhood. And I love this screencap so much I made it my desktop background. It’s Hauke and Philipp Peters-Arnolds, who starred as Martin Thaler.
Eh, Miu-chan, the other blond little boy is the one called ‘Fässchen’ or ‘Tong Cilik’ (in Indonesian), not Fridolin. He’s supposed to be in a different year from Martin and the Gang in the novel, isn’t he? As far as I remember Fässchen is not an Öbertertia kid… a Quarta?
And seeing Francois Goske’s caps, I have to agree that he’s very expressive and Sebastian Kreuzkamm is actually an interesting character. He can’t replace Sebastian Frank in my heart, but Sebastian Kreuzkamm is special in his own way. Miu-chan also reminded me about ‘strange’ details of the novel, such as Jonathan’s dream of living in a mountain when he’s grown up, with his wife and children and ‘probably Martin too’. What the hell…
Saya mau tinggal di sekolah berasrama kalau ketua asramanya Theo. Setiap kali ada kiriman surat datang, saya akan dengan setia nangkring di hall menunggu Theo melemparkannya dari balkon…
There's going to be a Tristan and Isolde film! [info]missriboet
