1. Name a movie that you have seen more than 10 times.
Wow, there are way to many to name. My mom says I watched The Wizard of Oz when I was little just about every day. I bet she is right because that box is so wrecked. Also, I think I have watched The First Wives Club and The Sound of Music about a million bajillion times. There are so many more...ah!
2. Name a movie that you've seen multiple times in the theater.
Chicago and Dreamgirls. I also saw School of Rock randomly twice.
3. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a movie.
Meryl Streep or Dustin Hoffman. Those are my two favorite film actors and I would see ANYTHING they were in.
4. Name an actor that would make you less likely to see a movie.
Hmmm...oh probably Peter Graves. I don't think he makes movies anymore, but he is a jerk and I would not want to see him in anything.
5. Name a movie that you can and do quote from.
The First Wives Club. There are so many more, but that one is the top. I think I know every word of the movie by heart.
6. Name a movie musical that you know all of the lyrics to all of the songs.
Chicago, The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Funny Girl, oh I could go on and on.
7. Name a movie that you have been known to sing along with.
The Sound of Music. I think I was the only person singing when we took the tour in Austria. It was amazing!
8. Name a movie that you would recommend everyone see.
The Prince of Tides and Auntie Mame (because that movie is pure fabulousness!)
9. Name a movie that you own.
State and Main. It is quirky and weird, but it is David Mamet. I did not like it at first, but now, I LOVE it!
10. Name an actor that launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting chops.
Does Barbra Streisand count?
11. Have you ever seen a movie in a drive-in? If so, what?
Not that I remember...
13. Name a movie that you keep meaning to see but just haven't yet gotten around to it.
Capote. I read In Cold Blood and really want to see the movie, but I simply haven't yet.
14. Ever walked out of a movie?
Don't think so.
15. Name a movie that made you cry in the theater.
Oh gosh...to many to name. I always cry when things are sad. The Hours, and My Dog Skip to name some.
16. Popcorn?
Sometimes...but usually yes.
17. How often do you go to the movies (as opposed to renting them or watching them at home)?
It depends on if I want to see what's out. I would say a good amount of the time.
18. What's the last movie you saw in the theater?
Maybe Music and Lyrics.
19. What's your favorite/preferred genre of movie?
I usually pick Dramas, but I love a good Comedy as well.
20. What's the first movie you remember seeing in the theater?
I have no idea. I have vivid memories of Pocahantas, but I that was not my first movie.
21. What movie do you wish you had never seen?
Yeah...Bewitched is one. I just felt that was a complete waste of money.
22. What is the weirdest movie you enjoyed?
Maybe State and Main because at times it is so random.
23. What is the scariest movie you've seen?
I don't see scary movies and if I do...I block it out. Psychologically scary...Notes on a Scandal was up there. Judi Dench now scares me slightly.
24. What is the funniest movie you've seen?
Too many to name. The First Wives Club always makes me smile though. It is so great!
Not much other news. Rehearsals start on Wednesday.
I hope twin and Deb broke legs last night and wowed the world with their fabulousness!
Icons to come soon!
