Tonight I sat with my parents and watched a DVD I bought at the Dollar Tree. It had two Roy Rogers films on it - "King of the Cowboys" (1941) and "My Pal Trigger" (1946).
While I grew up knowing who Roy Rogers and Trigger were, I can't say that I've ever seen a movie or a show with them in it. So when I saw this DVD, I had to pick it up. This is what my parents grew up watching at the theater when they were kids. And it's nice to be able to share those memories with them. I like that.
The shows were a lot of fun. Good, clean fun even if the actual film is pretty horribly shot (I"m so spoiled with today's technology - lol). I've enjoyed just sitting here and resting with my family.
I've done a couple loads of laundry, too. And some work for the theatre, but that's about it. I'm enjoying it...though I need to start exercising. lol That's on my list of things to do. I bought a new exercise DVD from the Dollar Tree, too, and hopefully that should be entertaining enough to get me started into a routine again.
