Yes, there's still a month left of summer. But I have a feeling nothing else is going to take place within August. Since it's August and well, school's approaching fast. So I'm dedicating this entry to you, summer of '06, and all the great memories we had together.
-Got a livejournal.
-Realized that I'm addicted to myspace and admitted it.
-Went to Cedar Point for my first time and loved it.
-Got my hamster Mr. Edminton
-Went to the Ox Roast for the first time as well. It was great.
-Tried cigarettes, but realized I don't like them.
-Realized I've changed and feel fine about it.
-Figured out who my true friends are.
-Decided for once to not be so judgemental against others. Everyone has their flaws, and no one's perfect...so it's just ridiculous to point out someone else's and make fun of them for it. Unless it's completely necessary. Tehe. *runs away*
-Beat Silent Hill 3
-John Tucker Must Die. I've said enough.
-Started listening to many great bands.
-Realized that writing Yeah Yeah Yeahs on my leg in permanent marker as a reminder was a dumb idea.
-Realized how much I miss Ashley and Matt.
-I think I'm adjusting to change better.
-Drove out to Stow for the first time and... and... *le sigh*
-Drinking's okay, but I think I'm done with it. Forever.
-Put in an application at Wal Mart.
-Regretted putting in an application at Wal Mart.
-Wal Mart never called me.
-Started watching Grey's Anatomy and Grounded for Life.
-Added to my Jones Soda bottle collection.
-Drove around for the hell out of it a lot.
-Made a new friend or two.
-Had a bonfire where we sat around with glowstick bracelets on and smoked pot.
-Heh, I remember dropping my Jones Soda bottle in Sheetz while dancing to "I Will Love You Always and Forever" by Donna Lewis. Then Stephanie laughing her ass off at me as the entire place got silent and we just looked around. Then going to the drive-in afterwards
and turning off the sounds and making up our own lines to Over the Hedge. As someone behind us flashed us because we were being
too loud.
-Playing Silent Hill 4 in Steph's room for hours.
-Going to Pulp and thinking they put something in the smoothies because up until that point paper towel dispensers were never that funny.
-Hanging out at Wal Mart with Tiffany and sitting on their pillow-like seats while reading Cosmo outloud and drinking our unpaid drinks.
-The day after Tiffany's party where we went to throw away the bottles behind IGA and I freaked out and started driving away and Tiffany's
body wasn't even in the car.
-Driving through Windham, more specifically the projects, and smelling pot smoke, then realizing that the sweet car in front of us was filled with smoke and was bouncing up and down.
-Driving around late at night and singing to Whitney Houston.
-Going through a phase where I enjoyed really bad movies. Not because they were awesomely bad either. It was sick. I liked The Perfect Man. LIKED.
-Ate at Pizza Hut a lot.
-Memorized Afro Man's Colt 45. Gooood for me.
-Watched some sweet documentaries about music.
-Attempted reading but didn't get too far, sadly.
-I did some things I swore I never would.
-Realized how fucking amazing The Who are and Eminem.
-Bought a scented cross for my car that my mom keeps on taking down.
-Saw a Wes Anderson commercial. Only once too.
-Worked on my scrapbook. And I'm nowhere near done.
-Found the new love of my life: Nick Diamonds.
-Sat around. Sat around. Sat around.
-Had the chance to go to California.
-Went to God Will. The extra 'O' was out.
-Became nocturnal.
-Still am nocturnal.
-Missed many graduation parties.
-Danced around alone in my room.
-Thought about things too much.
-I am really trying to make this list longer.
-But there's nothing else I can add.
Some things that might be taking place in August:
-I might get a new car.
-Leah's bonfire
But I'm sure I'll update about those when they come around.
