It has been an entire week since I have finished my very first semester of college at YSU.
It went by fast. A good fast though. Not a depressing one. I just want to get my degree and get out of there.
I got an 81 on my psych exam, which is a-okay by me.  I'm not striving for a 4.0 or anything... fuck that.
Being on a month long vacation feels great.  Other than the fact that Dianna has felt the need to extend my hours at work.
Instead of getting three days off, I get two. And instead of getting four/five hour shifts, I get seven/eight.
Yes, yes, I know. Complaining about work. Everyone does it and I should just suck it up and deal with it.
But, eh. I guess I'll look at it this way: it's more money. And money's nice. It's just not everything in life.
I wonder how badly skipping philosophy everyday will effect my GPA. Hmmm...

In other news: Ashley is coming home this Sunday! Fuck yeah. I can't wait.
We're going to get a real, live Christmas tree and decorate it that very night.
(My mom has gotten into the habit of purchasing little, fake Christmas trees and planting them all around the house.
So whenever Ashley comes home for Christmas, we always get a real one to keep the tradition alive.)
She's only going to be home for about four days, though. Which blows harder than how shitty my car is.

Speaking of Christmas trees...
I'm so fucking sick of people causing problems with the word "Christmas"
Yes, I am light-years away from being considered "religious," but what the fuck?
"I'm sorry, but the word Christmas offends me, please... say Holiday Trees."
Well you know what I think? FUCK YOU. It's Christmas goddamnit.
Go take your stupid 'holiday trees' and jump off a cliff. Amen.

Jer and I had our one year this Saturday. We went up to the mall with his mom.
She bought us lunch at the Hot Dog Shoppe in Warren (kickass) and took us to Sam's Club.
I ended up buying a new wallet at JCPenny's and got my mom this Glade thing for Christmas.
When we got back, the roads started to get pretty bad, so we canceled our plans of going out to eat and stayed inside.
Watching the Sopranos and wrapping gifts was a good way to spend the day, I must say.
We also walked into my room to find a Red Lobster gift card inside an envelope, from my parents. That was neat.
All in all, it was perfect.

Speaking of the Sopranos, I think that show is mine and Jerm's replacement of The Shield as of right now.
We are addicted to it like a crackhead loves their crack. It's so damn good. I mean, fuck, we're only in the first season..
but, something's telling me it's only going to get better here on out.

But okay, I should probably go now.
A.) Because no one is going to read this, and B.) because I need to get ready for work and whatnot.

Luv,
Amur
