How do you document real life...

...When it feels more like fiction each day.  Life does seem to be coming more and more surreal.  Yesterday we went up to Hank Graff to look at getting a different car because we can't stand our piece of shit.   We looked at an Aveo LS and an HHR LS.  The Aveo was decent but at 14,000 the features were very meager.  For only 4,000 more we could get the hhr and it was nice.  the ride was 100% better, the features were amazing.  So many things were better than the aveo.  But yeah, due to our limited credit history, the dealership is hesitant.  so we need to get a co-signer with established credit history.

But, we went to see Rent and it was spectacular!  Definitely one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. It surpassed Chicago with no contest. The only drawback was some of the actors.  But then again, the only rent i have known has been with a good chunk of the original cast or the full original cast.  The actress they had for Joanne had a lisp and it really took away from her performance as Joanne.  The actress for Maureen was phenomenal as a singer, but her hair wascut very short and it seemed odd to me.   The actor for Collins was amazing, definitely one of the best for the show.  Roger was decent...the actor wasn't very consistant in his forcefulness.  The actress for Mimi was amazing as well.  She nailed Daphne's original choreography from the original Broadway performances.  And her voice was flawless.  Mark had too dark a complexion and too dark of hair, but had a good voice and was very humorous with his actions (like humping the table during La Vie Boheme).  Benny was very good, very close to Taye Digg's original performances.  And then there is Angel.  At first the actor for Angel was kinda sketchy for me.  His singing was a roller coaster ride, because he would shift from normal to falsetto within a song, wich the original angel didn't do.  But then when Contact came on, it was amazing the way he was singing.  Definitely redeeming himself.   But overall it was pure genius.  I am so glad that I went.  I saw Jenn there and it was nice to see her again.  Thats all for now.
