My First Post
OK, so this is a test post. The guided stuff for text that I'm typing directly in here looks fairly straightforward.
However, what happens when I want to insert text, or a link, say maybe, to the only Online copy of one of my favorite gen fanfics? (Since I'm learning to do this for a Gen Fanfic Day, this seems appropriate.)
OK, Testing.
I really enjoy Helena Handbasket's classic three-way crossover fic, "Actualize This!". I loved I-Man during it's single season on the air, have enjoyed Stargate since the movie, and knowing next-to-nothing about The Sentinel didn't detract from appreciating the interwoven approaches, assumptions, interactions, and cross-nick-naming of the three "dyads". I wish one of the better-formatted versions of this story were still available online, but the copies at Heliopolis (old archive) and Helena's own former website are both gone. So, you'll have to deal with the unmarked transitions between scenes and viewpoints. Nevertheless, this is an enjoyable romp:

I guess I'll post this and see if the link takes me to the story. I'll do another test post with some copied and pasted text with minor formatting (Italics) later. Maybe I'll try that HTML tab and see what IT does. Maybe I'll figure out how to rename the link something other than just the bare URL?
