I think I found something weird Becca doesn't already know. This came from my big folder of childhood memorabilia. When I was 14 or thereabouts I wrote a fan letter to Tom Cruise asking for an autograph and generally being embarrassingly 14 years old. I never sent it (because I thought it was embarrassing even then) so I can present it here now.

This is my Bao board from Zanzibar. Bao is an East African game of chance & strategy. It brings back fond memories of spending my evenings in a small Zanzibari village playing Bao with a group of locals (and eventually getting good enough to beat them now and then \o/).

I had already taken a picture of the teddy before lian's comment came in. ;) Meet my sad teddy who is called "trauriger Teddy" (sad teddy) because he looks as if he's about to burst into tears. Look at his sad, sad eyes!
