If German law applies to you, you better think twice if you have explicit content (one image illustrating a post about BDSM) on your blog and decide to go to the police because you got repeated death and rape threats and have been sent gruesome photos of butchered women. The case against those threatening you may end up getting dismissed while you yourself end up charged with distribution of internet pornography. (The linked text is in German.)
I know it's the law (short version: porn is legal as long as all involved are 18 and you make sure no minors can easily access the content) and the police cannot simply ignore it if something comes to their attention, but this is so horrifyingly out of proportion. This is such a gross waste of resources seeing that you have actual threats made against a person right there.
