Omg the German Foreign Office [German article] aided the Holocaust during the Nazi era. We have a new historical study to prove it. No, really. I am as shocked as you are. They were not a bastion of dissidents dancing under a sparkly rainbow and playing with unicorns. OMG!!11!!1

Do you all know ScienceBlogs already? It's a collaborative blog. The topics range from the natural sciences and engineering to politics, literature and history. It's my current favourite German-language blog. Recent entry I liked: Die Bibel im Kinderkanal. Here's the DW feed.
Mariama is an Afrogerman singer/songwriter, born in Freetown and grew up in Cologne. I found her via Mädchenblog and spent yesterday evening listening to this song on repeat. She has a beautiful voice.
Rainald Grebe's Brandenburg song. I am not a fan of his work in general (I actively dislike most of it, actually) but this song is fantastic. I love my home state but Grebe absolutely nails what's so ridiculous about it. I was in Irland when this came out so the first time I heard it was last year during my summer internship. I almost fell off my chair I was laughing so hard.
Hagen Rether is one of my favourite German political cabaret artists.
