Maybe I'll do real updates this semester. But don't count on it.
Christmas break was wonderful, much-needed, relaxing, etc., etc. I honestly feel ready to take on the world and kick this semester in the ass right now. Let's see how long this feeling lasts...
Here's my schedule, because I'm a nerd. I'm such a nerd that I even have it memorized, and am now going to type it entirely from memory...
MWF: ITALIAN, 8:30-9:20
ECOLOGY, 9:30-10:20
ECOLOGY LAB, 12:40-2:40 ((Wednesdays only))
CHOIR, 3-4:15
TR: COGNITIVE PSYCH, 10-11:15
RESEARCH METHODS, 1-2:15
XU WOMEN'S CHORUS, 7-9 ((Tuesdays only))
There you go. I'm pretty bored right now ((as evidenced by the fact that I am actually writing in LJ after a rather lengthy absence)). As I mentioned, break was wonderful. Except for reworking my research proposal for psych, I did absolutely nothing productive. I read a couple of good books, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, and The Bean Trees. My family played host to my crazy great Aunt Arlena for a few days. :P Luckily it wasn't as bad as I thought it might have been. We spent Christmas Eve in Cincinnati at my grandparents' old house, which my cousin just finished renovating, and Christmas Day at my aunt and uncle's. New Year's Eve was spent with the CJ crowd, which was amazing. I love them all so much.
Chris was supposed to get back today, but apparently his parents "tricked him" into staying another night in Indiana...I miss him like crazy. :P Ah well. Emily is in Florida now, and will be for the next four months...crazy girl. I know she'll have a wonderful time though...it might wind up being a good thing for her.
Blah. I might go to bed early tonight. Michelle is in the other room with Ai-Ling, watching episodeso of "Firefly," which I may go back out and get sucked into...strange but intriguing show.
