→ SCREAMS Sufjan Stevens performed with The National last night and I coulda bought tickets to go for it but I didn't because I thought 'oh, I've already seen The National earlier this year'. to be fair-- to be fair-- that wasn't advertised at all. for the best, I guess.
→ newfound music: boats and trains, by stornoway. heard it played in starbucks just now-- through the music I was blasting through my ipod to drown out the noise around me, that's how captivating I found the chorus-- and jotted down the lyrics for googling afterward and haha I knew it was probably UK indie-folk and I was right...anyway, I really like the melody of the chorus, and the way he sings it.
→ what else, what else? london's first snow of this winter fell today, and it was lovely because I only had to brave the elements for about ten minutes in total. I have written 221 words of the 1800 I need for my essay, but the rest will come much more easily. still.
