the thing about halloween is that I've always loved (LOVED) the idea of costumes and dressing up as someone else cool for a little while, but I've never gotten the chance to because no one does any halloween thing back home-- it's simply a non-event (much like thanksgiving)-- and hardly any of my friends here do anything (I...hang out mostly with east asians) so I have no one to do anything with here either.
