well. given that I'll be in britain on my 21st birthday, away from all my family, we sort of celebrated it today at brunch at a restaurant. the entire clan on my mother's side of the family came down, and it was fun. noisy party poppers were gleefully involved and I was v embarrassed (but lovingly, I suppose), and I discovered yet again that I really do not enjoy being at the centre of attention haha. I don't know how actors and artistes do it; I strongly suspect they are wired diametrically differently from me.
also, all us females on my mother's side of the family look very, very similar. the ones related by blood and not married in, anyway. (which is basically all but one.) it kind of freaks me out.
my extended family;
my family ♥ my brother basically looks like a clone of my father.
my aunts and girl-cousins. don't we look alike???
I LOVE THIS PHOTO HAHAHA.
other notably awesome things this week: conversations of win (and personal insight) with
nyxerika on tuesday, and catching up with some london people over dinner on thursday. I love workless summer days home, I do, I really do.
