curious: before India in the month of May, I was averaging 7 entries a day. then I went to India, and when I came back I somehow didn't need to lj anymore.
I'm back. (I can say this with validity only now.)
holy smokes I'm done with CTs! 5 days after everyone else, but hey. :) been isolated away from the main school population (class included) because I was away the whole hols, and didn't go for the history and econs papers, went for h1 math but that was limited to KI people interaction, and went for lit paper with everyone but well- not much interaction either. other than the lunch after lit with dee els xueyang martin rayner sru, which was their post-ct celebration of sorts but I tagged along anyway even though I should have studied. :P
I could just feel my face breaking into a grin when I got to the top of the beauty and the beast staircase on monday (history paper) and saw almost everyone from India there. haha. tomorrow's dinner is what I've been looking forward to the entire week.
for these CTs:
martin saved my sea (indebted for a LONG, LONG, LONG time haha)
els saved my IH with her cold war notes
kartik saved my IH with his china crash course outside SR1
(and when I say saved for IH I really mean saved; everything I wrote in my essay was from them and whatever I could remember from the readings which I hadn't touched in weeks. over-concentrated on sea, not like that paid off but haha oh well. next time. I'll do much better next time.)
carmen saved my econs!!!!!! with her l337 notes. again everything I wrote in my essay today was from what I learnt from her/her notes- 2 hours before the paper.
okay I know it sounds like I didn't study but I DID. just that for some reason it was completely ineffective. and hence I required intensive (& extensive) saving. ):
entered H1R6 today when everyone was already seated and had this incredibly weird feeling of dislocation. like I'd already left and wasn't supposed to be back. oh but even though civics was quite silly, it was actually kinda interesting to see who picked which 'value' (yes it requires inverted commas) as their least/most important. mine were the complete opposite of ben goh's haha it was quite funny. fyi, he picked freedom as most important and peace at least...
clearly I would do well in 1984/Gilead (which should come as no surprise) and he would be a more than decent terro freedom fighter. XD
I am allowing myself tonight to do nothing and completely indulge in mindless internet surfing. :) after which, I will sleep and repay my sleep debt. after-India has been characterized by sleeping at 4am and waking up at noon, which is more or less what I do every holiday break. and studying way way way into the morning. which persisted up till...last night.
I'm rambling, I say happily.
