我今天玩得很痛快!

Class outing was a blast, as usual - it was so FUN and I was so happy, and it was a really good outing. Glad for the people who turned up, especially those who stayed towards the end. The movie was fantastic, fantastic, generally because of the movie itself, it made me very happy. Lunch was good too, and all the times in between our activities where we were just talking random things. We took forever to get to east coast park itself, hanging a bit around parkway parade and going to giant and waiting for wally, and then we took forever to get to where we wanted to - the kayak place at E2, that is, so we only got a bit under an hour for kayaking, but hey, it was FUN.

Firstly because Sumae and I paired up to go on a doubles kayak, and we're both pretty hopeless at kayaking despite us both being archers and archers supposing to have arm muscles (NEGATIVE), so we had a lot of trouble getting the kayak out in the first place - thank God for Ann Liang and David, who were both REALLY nice about us being so hopeless and gave a lot of advice and practical help (ie lugging us out to sea haha), and then drifting around at sea and paddling was quite fun because every so often we'd raft up, randomly talk to people nearby, or splash other people and get splashed towards the end. :D Ann Liang and David in particular really kept looking out for us haha. Ann Liang cos he was good, and he seemed really in his element, and David because...David is David and has his protect-my-people instincts, as sumae and I noticed when we realised that even though he was far far ahead of us he kept looking back to check on those of us behind (ie the girls, mostly, because martin and wally were definitely fine in their two-man kayak).

Oh. The MOST fun part, however, has got to be AFTER we returned the kayaks and frolicked yes FROLICKED in the sea HAHA. First Martin went in, and then Wally, and then eventually everyone else followed and we splashed, and then Martin dunked me -___- haha I was like OMG UNDERWATER SHOCK OOH GONNA GET YOU BACK FOR THAT scrabble scrabble claw (I clawed. I hope he wasn't um traumatised.) but being damn sad at physical things, I tried to dunk him twice but quite failed. the last time I tried to get ann liang, and failed cos momentum wasn't strong enough (momentum and sneaky surprises from the back were the only way I could get any guy down), and then the next thing I knew Wally got me and I was underwater hahaha. So basically everyone (except David, who was the only guy there not leaping at girls and trying to pull them underwater) was trying dunk anyone of the opposite sex. And then after that came trying to rinse off and change in the extremely communal shower area, with much screeching and mirth as we shed our clothes and our dignity hahaha. Thank goodness we had the girls' area to ourselves, ie the 13a girls. I swear I heard the guys a wall away talking, too. Man the 10 of us who did the water stuff have got to be completely comfortable with each other after we dunked and showered. HAHA. maaaaaan.

in his email Mr Sowden says "Happy Youth Day Everyone...While you lot are maximising your utility in whatever way you see fit my 'day off' is being spent marking your CTs" and I'm thinking hehe oops, we had a real swell time out today, Mr Sowden!

Dinner at some pasta place was really ex and I had to go off really soon after, but thank you Daniel and Sumae for walking me out and calling the cab for me! (: am home safely yes yes. Had a REALLY GREAT TIME today, and it's back to school for real tomorrow after five weeks of schoollessness, it will be so weird adjusting back especially since we had a sleepover and outing in the holidays and I'm like school what school classrooms are confining! Oh well.
