(no subject)
sssssso. I do this thing where, upon finding a song that I really enjoy listening to, I loop it until I tire of it (for the moment) and move on to other songs. my thirty most-played songs on itunes have hit hundreds of plays each...
yesterday I discovered this song I've been searching for for years. I think my brother knows this (whipermr5, are you reading this? I'm looking at you!) there's a bit of instrumental music in mulan, the night before her father's supposed to enlist in the army, where mulan decides to take his place and cuts her hair and flees her home. and that bit of music I always thought was wonderful, even as a kid. the problem is that the official score doesn't have it ):
BUT YESTERDAY I FOUND THE EXTENDED SCORE (which I didn't even know existed!) WITH THAT BIT OF MUSIC IN IT.
and I have played it 145 times since then, and counting.
I am thinking 'obsessive' is one of my personality traits. or something to that effect. then again it has always been this way for as long as I can remember-- I find something I really like, I latch onto it wholeheartedly and exhaust it and it never really leaves me.
