Another day...
I feel shattered. Again.
Busy day at work, lots of children coming down with various bugs, so gloves and tissues are disappearing fast! One of my keyworker children's mum had her baby at 2am this morning. She bought the baby in to show us when she dropped her child off. We were all shocked she wasn't still in hospital, or at least zonked out at home! She looked fantastic, smugly glowing with her new arrival, who is adorable and so tiny with a shock of red hair :)
Had my staff appraisal today, which was the normal 'go-through-the-motions' and basically repeat what we've both been putting down for the last 5 or 6 years since we started doing them! Me - like to continue doing the EYDCP short courses. Boss - continue to offer EYDCP short courses!
I have a Behaviour Management course tomorrow afternoon - for the children, not me!! - which should be a barrel of laughs. I was kicked in the face today by one of my charges (accidentally I might add) and am sporting the beginnings of what looks to be a spectacular black eye. Looks like I shall be putting make-up on with a trowel tomorrow morning so I can do some of the WSW releases.
