Summary: Two friends wait out the night.
Aerith paused on the threshold of the porch and took a deep breath. She hadn't been able to find her PDA after she and Zack had fled the ghost, and going out there with nothing made her nervous. What would happen if she encountered another spirit?
...well, for starters, she wouldn't be so stupid this time.
Shaking her head, and wincing a bit as the air rushed over the cut on her cheek, Aerith trotted down the stairs and began to run. She'd been doing more running tonight than she'd done since Radiant Garden, and she was silently grateful for the workout routine she'd stuck to in Traverse Town and Hollow Bastion. It had kept her in good shape, if nothing else.
Luckily, she made it to Leon's cabin without incident, and hurried up onto the porch, stopping short when she saw Leon sitting there.
"...hey," she said with a smile, putting her hands behind her back.
