His thoughts bringing him back, as he could see in the distant fragments of pixel colors together to make the mountains, the sea, the flowers and the trees. As he's closer, the pallet began to mesh, until solidifying before him. Making the brown of the trunk, he stood a foot from, a clean wash of the deep color. The petals of the flowers now identifiably separate then their previous collage of mixed pastels.
And as he was so far from the familiarity of his world, here on Acairnia, he'd realized within his subconsciousness that he was very much like a fragment of his former self. Not strong, not a fighter, not friendly, not confident, hardly even a liar. His foundation now pixels within him. pieces of himself that he desperately tried to hold onto. But without coming to conclusive scheme of his true colors.
Friendship, his sign, his calling as well as his challenge. But strip from his friends, his father, his brother even his mother. What was left was a mess on his pallet, unable to differentiate from the colors, like the far horizon in the Digital World, he was left here to try and see clearly something that was freckled and therefore chaotic.
Yamato's stress, his nightmare, the metaphor was becoming a blur with Betsy's soothing, her song. Her promise.
And he could feel himself molding, shifting, changing and readjusting to this new habitat of paradise and fear. But all the still, his world heavy within his memory, the Digital World haunting him in his sleep. The loss of it all becoming something easier to cope with as each day here had passed. He'd never forget the two worlds he'd grown to know in his past, but the ever growing fear of something more was what kept him disturbed into late hours of the night. It was that perhaps one day he'll truly forget himself, and become someone else while here. Much like he'd started his transformation into someone better in the digital world. He could feel himself falling apart here almost, the obstacles much greater with little promise to over come them as he was now.
Just another helpless child.
