the reunion
The Andrews reunion was yesterday. It was at my Aunt Jill's place, as it is every year. She has a large property in Caledon. Usually I invite Ally up, but the idiot didn't book off work so she couldn't come. Instead, I dragged Caitlyn along! Martin brought his own Kaitlin too.
It was a lot of fun. Even though it rained the whole time. Caitlyn and I tried to play badminton twice. It was epic fail both times. The rackets' netting were all loose and they were wrecked, so they wouldn't hit the birdie right. That didn't stop us from trying, though. The second time was in the dark (don't ask). One of my cousin's boarder collie tried to play with us (she thought we were throwing the birdie for her). But she's really well trained, so she didn't steal it from us (too many times). It did come in handy when the birdie fell too far away. We just sent the dog after it.
We had good times just talking. Caitlyn got to meet the family. It was hilarious, they were all like: "Overwhelmed yet?" "Good luck, you'll need it with this family", etc. LOL. We're notorious.
Kaitlin, Caitlyn and I complained about school, ranted about Morgaine and gossiped. It was fun.
Though it was too bad Ally couldn't come. The idiot.
And yummy cheesecake. And mom's punch that gave us all warm feelings in our stomachs. And me not knowing half of my relatives and having to introduce Caitlyn to them. Cait did really well though, handled the animals family like a pro. (which I suppose she is, seeing as how she's known me for 6 years. Holy crap. Has it been that long already?).
We spazzed about Juli's party and tried to plan my own. I have to think of more people to invite.
On the way home we shared music and sang. Fun times.
