you are entering the twilight zone

so it's been kinda off-and-on rainy for the last two days.
doo dee doo doo: i'm LOVIN it. it's so cozy and for once i'm not languishing in my underwear in 30 degree heat. i'm doing the "curling up on the couch" thing.

kells is much better.. she said that today she didn't even cry, and that she's getting excited about her mom flying in from jolly old england to keep her company. she's also planning on traveling and incorporating a project into it... something that could possibly become her masters thesis. went to the gallery showing at ubc with her and lauren tonight, made fun of all the artsy types and did our own special analysis of pretentious art pieces. then to koerner pub (never did i know that the library had a namesake watering hole) for nachos and a nice glass of the house battery acid.

haven't been able to catch up on the flist yet, i'm wasted. it was a long day at work but stressful at the end, as my close was terrible and i don't know what happened and i was $87 out.

tomorrow is chloe's date with the vet. i'm terrified that they're going to make her all unconscious and drooly, shave her belly then cut into her and take something out like a bobby pin or a spoon or rusty bucket or who knows :( and then she's going to have to wear a plastic cone and she's going to be walking about, moving her head from side to side because it's the only way she can see her surroundings properly. weep.

almost done

and am looking forward to sinking my teeth into

based on this quote from gilmore girls:
LORELAI: Uh, you’ve gotta read this Motley Crue book. I swear, you get to the point where Ozzy Osbourne snorts a row of ants and you think, it cannot get any grosser, and then you turn the page and oh, hello, yes it can! It’s excellent!
