methinks my REM nerve was pinched
This matters to almost nobody.
So, the boy and I were watching Beavis and Butt-head last night (he's into it, and I was indulging- I never was insane about the show... guess it's a generational thing). They were in the part of the show where the guys are making fun of music videos (ok, so that part of the show's funny), and the song began sounding familiar, but I couldn't place, though I was sure it was REM.
Then it hit me. Nightswimming. Man, I hadn't heard that song in at least 3 years. I think I forgot about it actually, but when it hit me, I sat there, grinning like an idiot, curbing the impulse to hop up and headbang.
(to the uninitiated, Nightswimming was one of our more beloved ADVANCE songs).
Man I miss that place. Doesn't matter how old I get, I still want to go back to it all.
