I just met this awesome dude from Togo!!
his name is Sabi and he is doing some kind of veterinarian work at Cornell. Oh the people you meet (at Heifer Ranch).
OHHHH i'm so excited for my 2 week break. With all of the people leaving the Ranch has come a lot of drama. I found out about a lot of lies and other drama. One girl was sleeping around with these guys and that has caused a lot of tension that has lasted even though she is gone. I hate cheaters. I hate ppl who sleep around. Sluts, I mean. I kinda hate men, too.
i've been really fucking annoying lately. Ugh. Totally NOT me.
What am I going to do for my summer??? So many options!! There's so much I want to do.
1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Let's see-- killed an animal with my own hands, been a waitress, seen people on serious drugs, kissed a guy (haha I KNOW!), gotten and broken up with a boyfriend, gotten accepted to college, eaten goat, shovelled water buffalo manure, been a teacher, gone skinnydipping, moved away from home
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i don't even remember what my resolutions were
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
some Ranch animals! I get to help deliver baby goats and sheep in the springtime!
4. Did anyone close to you die??
yes. My friend Jason O.D.ed earlier this Fall.
5. What countries did you visit?
none-- i'm going to Honduras in the spring.
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
to know myself.

March 1-- got accepted to college; August 28th-- my 18th birthday and also the day we evacuated; mid-October- first time I went back to N.O. and saw the destruction
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
overcoming my fear of my body, becoming very comfortable with public speaking

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
nope; healthy as a horse!

lots of YARN to make lots of scarfs!! And possibly all the things I got from the Ranch gift shop

my own for staying focused and not letting anyone put my dreams down.

nowhere. I didn't spend any. I saved most all of it.
