Application with vita question

I am applying to several more corporatized technical colleges, and many of these institutions require a paper application form in addition to the standard curriculum vita. One in particular invites attaching a separate page only for employment history, while the sections for related experience and references does not have the phrase "attach a ( Read more... )

Put some information in the sections but make it absolutely clear that you have attached a vitae with more details. I've known people on hiring committees who have said that they hate it when a section is blank except for a "see vitae."

Answer the questions on the form. Remember that this is not about making *your* life easier but rather *their* lives, the people on the hiring committee.

You want them to have the information they need in as easy and time efficient manner. They do not want to be flipping through various sheets unless needed. If you simply put "see vita", they might miss the information or just not be bothered to find it when 50 other people managed to put it on the form (even though they too are completing about 3 applications a day).

hi srry i dont have a lot of advice but i thought i'd say what i think. i think u should put some info in the sections instead of just saying "pls see vita". that way they dont think ur being lazy or whatever right. lol anyway i just wanna say good luck too!!!!! :)
