My wife, the guest speaker

Next semester, I'm teaching a geography class that has a section on #TOPIC. I'd like to have someone who deals with #TOPIC in the real world come in for a guest lecture in one class period. My wife happens to be a #TOPIC lawyer, so she would be suitable, except that I have a sense that it would be ethically dubious to have her as the speaker. Due to living with her, I know all about the other #TOPIC organizations in the area, so it wouldn't be too much trouble to get someone I'm not related to to give the talk. But my wife feels a little slighted and thinks my concerns about asking her to come in are ridiculous. I'm having trouble articulating the reason for my intuition that it's better to have someone else do it, so I can't analyze whether said intuition is justified. Thoughts?
