A Question for the Group Mind re: Spanish-American War
Hello fellow academicians,
I'm in the middle of grading final exams, and a student made an argument that I can neither confirm nor reject easily, and I'm hoping that someone on here will know. The student argued that a primary cause of the Spanish-American war (1898) was "intense pressure put on the US government by the US military."
Can anyone tell me if there's much historical support for this claim?
