MFA Job Conumdrum

Hi I looked through the tags and didn't find anything that matched my question (just some spirited debated about MA vs. MFA vs. Ph.D)

I will (hopefully) be graduating with my MFA in Art with a focus on New Media and Cultural Production. I've been looking at a lot of job listings, but am feeling kind of down. I have the right terminal degree, and even the area of study people seem to be looking for, but I don't have a lot of classroom teaching experience (but I have experience doing little workshops) or a huge record exhibition (though I did get to be part of a show in Scotland, so I can claim some international experience).

So I guess my question is should I hold off applying to teaching jobs until I have more exhibition experience? Or should I just put myself out there? Are there any MFA's in this community that have landed college or university gigs?

TIA
