The Global Studies Department invites applications for a limited term
appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective July 1, 2007
to June 30, 2008, subject to budgetary approval. Applicants should have
a PhD (or be in the final stages of writing their dissertation) with
demonstrated excellence in interdisciplinary teaching. The successful
candidate will be expected to teach at the undergraduate level
including, but not limited to, the following courses: "Introduction to
Peace and Conflict", "Conflict Transformation," "Contemporary Global
Conflicts and the Search for Peace" and "Peacebuilding in the Shadow of
