Job Posting: Child and Youth Protection Coordinator, IRC Pakistan

*This position requires a higher degree in Education*

The CYPD Coordinator will provide technical guidance to IRC’s education, child protection, youth and vocational skills programming in Pakistan. He/she will promote quality; effective programming that through a range of entry points promotes and supports a protective environment for children and youth that strengthen the community’s key role in sustaining this, and increases opportunities for development and growth. The Coordinator will encourage greater coherence of approaches and strategies across all activities, in all geographic areas of IRC’s operation. He/she will work to leverage experience, staff capacity, materials and tools that are developed in one program area to inform the others. Regular communication/coordination with other child protection, education and youth programming actors, is essential. This will include government representatives, UN staff, NGO staff, both national and international, and community representatives.
