Only at my private Christian college would we get away with doing the things we do.
We have fondue at lunch and make your own cupcakes.
We have a huge fall festival in the square with blow up slides, rock climbing and obstacle course. The slide was fun but gave your feet and elbows major burns. Andi totally showed up everyone with her rock climbing skills...she even beat the boys!
I have seen a lot of movies recently, but all of them have been watched with good company so that made it all worth it.
I have started going to youth encouragement services or Y.E.S. It's an inner city after school care type thing, and it is amazing. We have so much fun with those kids and they love you back with such an innocent love that it is amazing. I am throughly enjoying my time with them and with my Pi Kappa Sigma sisters. Joining the club has been one of the best experiences of my life.
I changed my career path. I want to be a high school history teacher and I want to work in the inner city. I don't have to, but I think those kids just need someone constant in their lives and I could be that constant. I think I will be able to make a big impact on their lives, at least I hope I will be able to.
I have hung out a lot with Quinn and SB and it has been great fun. It's amazing how many hours can pass so quickly while doing nothing but being silly and making each other laugh.
I am looking forward to going home for thanksgiving I miss my family and it will be good to see them all!
I'm going to the UK for a spring break mission trip, Lord willing. I'm so excited I know it will be great fun.
I miss my friends in the army.
School is about to get crazy but i'm ready for it.
