I voted!
First off, let me say, I HATE vote by mail. I didn't mind it when I was in DC and got to vote by mail as an absentee (living in DC working for an OR Congressman I got to keep my residency) but having no choice but to vote by mail...I hate it. I loved walking across the street with Jordan in tow, showing him how cool it is to vote. Sitting at the kitchen table just isn't the same...but I suppose it does give more opportunity for discussion... Anyway, I voted against it, but we live in a Democracy and others wanted it so... That being said part of the reason I hate it is because I am a huge procrastinator and rarely have stamps so I'm usually driving to drop off my ballot the very last day... I actually didn't vote in the primary because I couldn't find my ballot that I'd filled out weeks prior... So the fact that I've already voted with over a week to spare is a huge thing! I'm sad that I felt so ambivalent in so many of my choices and that I didn't get to vote for Mayor of the town I live in because we live outside the city limits...lame...
