Finally!
It appears (as an early Christmas gift to me) that Security has decided top open up the corporate firewall to allow access to LJ. So, if this lapse in security continues, I may be updating this thing a little more. Internet access at work has greatly decreased my online time at home, therefore decreasing my LJ time as well.
I got "promoted" this week. By this, I mean they gave me more responsibilities, but no more pay or title. I have been told that after some time has passed (>6 mo), and I have done a good job, I will be promoted "for real." We'll see.
Ok, enough for now. I have work to do, you know. Sheesh.
