Job hunting SUCKS!
So basically, I just got back from an interview that was supposed to be my "dream job" however, after I get ALL the way up to Indy, I sit down with Carrie, aka, my interviewer. We start to get into the interview, everything is going great, we kinda clicked... I was excited!!!
AM I ABOUT TO GET MY DREAM JOB?!?!
So she continues... "Well, I think you are perfect for the job... Let's go into more details of the job."
I think "Woo Hoo, I can't WAIT to rub it in my mom's face that me, even WITH my shitty Communication job found her dream job straight out of college" HA!
But then.... I calm down and start to pay attention again. Carrie: "So basically starting out you will make around $22,000 a year, the job consists of calling potential clients, persuading them to work with our company, calling the current clients and make sure they are happy with the services they are receiving.... blah blah blah blah blah" Wait, did she just describe my job!? No way... that's basically what I would make, if not less than I would make at best buy. And did she just say I would have to PERSUADE clients to work with us and then someone else would get the account? Am I doing their bitch work?! Am I a telemarketer?! DAMN IT!
So anyway, back to the job hunt... my other job offer is looking a little better now.
Eric: "Well, the other job is looking better now, isn't it? We could use the money for the house"
...I know he's right, but it's kinda disappointing...
