So, this weekend was pretty awesome.  Went w/ anthony up to MTU to visit beth.  We got an early start up there friday and the temp dropped like 35 degrees from lansing to Houghton.  We went through some major tomfoolery and then on the way home we were amazing drivers.  Totalling 3 tickets inside of four hours.  He got 2 and I one.  Mine was ( Read more... )

So between now and sunday I've got 200 feet of 14 guage galvanized steel wire that will turn into 1/2" rings woven into european 4:1 chainmail. Who thinks I can do it?

a mood of elation... in total... $35 dollars was spent on supplies this weekend, from garage sales. I have to say I'm pleased with all that I've gotten:
2 grinders (one polished too)
1 lathe
2 meat grinders (one does crackers and nuts too!)
1 scythe
1 welders mask
1 large metal bucket
1 Leaf blower

( not too often to gripe, here's my moment )
