Possible Big Change
My brother might be coming to live with us. We don't really know when or if it's really going to happen yet. He's getting a divorce not by his choice. I won't get into the reasons as I know that I have a very biased opinion. Everyday the story is a little different as to if/when he is coming.
I think he's still in denial sometimes, which is understandable. He was going to stay with her for at least another semester at school because she was saying she was going to pay him back a bunch of money she convinced him to lend her family, but today the story has changed. Originally staying together for another year was her plan so she could send him off with more money in his pocket to help him get started. Today she is saying that she wants them to still stay together and that she wants to take the raise she got at work and put that in his savings for them to -split- when they part ways. So today it sounds like she's going to screw him over and he's talking like he might pack up his shit and come here like, well, now.
He's been coming to visit on his days off with his dog Dozer ( freaking awesome and cute dog that will be huge but listens ). I think he's trying to see what it would be like to be here. I really hope he comes here because it will make it easier for me to go to school and work since I will have less rent to pay. I also hope he comes here because my mom's hopes are up ( mine also ) and now that she's seen how we finish each others' sentences I think it will be harder for her to let him go again if he doesn't come here.
So that's the story today. Last weekend he was talking about us getting a hobby jeep together one minute and then the next saying that he needed to figure out if he really was coming here or not, so I'm trying not to get excited until he's here... it's almost working.
In other news, I'm kinda seeing this guy. His name is Phil and he wants to meet my dad's family soon. He wants to go shooting in MASS on the 19th or 26th and my brother-in-law is SOOO excited! He's been asking about Phil before I even met him! Our friends set us up so I heard about him before I met him. He's a gunsmith which is why my brother-in-law is excited. Oh and he wants me to be happy.
Also my nephew is HUGE. Apparently he is 10 months and is bigger than a 2 year old at daycare. Not that I've seen him lately cause I'm a bad aunt *hangs head in shame *.
For those that don't know, I registered for 4 classes at UConn for the fall semester. SCARY! At the same time I want to start now!
