Wow, May passed really fast and fannish-wise seemed mostly dominated by the sd_ficathon (I hear some of the S/J crazies are freaking out about the sudden influx of S/D fic?). That and fandom freaking out about stuff rather than writing.

I'm disappointed no Sam and Daniel recs at all this month at the rec site. No offense to Liz and Teyla, but it just doesn't seem right!

Some J/S shippers are upset at the influx of S/D fic? Really? Um...really? *scratches head and shrugs*

Someone, and I'm blanking on who at the moment, wrote a hilarious (and hot) fic about Sam and Daniel having sex on the gate ramp as a revolt against Sam and Daniel being called siblings in too many fic.

Personally, I'm not a sensitive to the sibling suggestion. MS and AT have referenced it. And as you know, I'm more a they're all friends/family/colleagues kinda gal. But I've always thought Sam and Daniel were cute together, and they would have smart and beautiful babies. ;-)

That's why I love Firefox - doesn't eat my comments when LJ goes nuts - though it's behaving okay for me today.

I know! I mean, they want more reccers - why can't you have more than one other friendship, especially since there's only two official friendship categories? Oh well. Soon enough.

I've heard that the S/J yahoo group is up in arms. Haven't seen it. The idea makes me laugh, honestly.

I agree they are sibling-esque in their behavior in terms of being really close, thinking similarly and being comfortable with each other. But that doesn't *make* them siblings. I'm not sensitive to it - I just think it's ridiculous.
Ultimately, I agree they're all friends (I would argue more like family) - but that doesn't stop the tiny voice in my head that whispers that Sam and Daniel would be perfect together and would have amazingly beautiful, brilliant babies (Pepper and I are chatting right now about that - and about the trouble uncles Jack and Teal'c and Cam and aunt Vala would get them in)

"No, what?" Jack asked, puzzled. Daniel tried to look busy with the work he'd brought home from SGC but he knew where this was soon going.

Sure enough, a small, sticky hand was soon incessantly tugging at his elbow. "Yes?"

"Uncle Jack's reading it wrong again!" Ben told him, stomping a foot and glaring back at the living room. "He doesn't say the names right!"

Daniel leaned back in his chair and sighed as Jack called in from the couch. "Why are you teaching him Babylonian mythology anyway, Daniel? Don't you have any Dr. Seuss?"

"Ben?" Daniel asked, looking down seriously. "Why don't you find Dr. Seuss's Sleep Book and have Uncle Jack read you that instead?" If Daniel was lucky, it would also put them both to sleep

I was going to ask where the problem was, so it's the yahoo group? How does anyone writing Sam/Daniel hurt them if they are on their own list?

You know, this makes me want to write MORE Sam/Daniel. I mean, please. It's not going to hurt anyone. Just like other pairings don't hurt me at all. I wrote tons of pairings. The apocolypse has't rained down on me...aside from when LJ went 'splodey earlier this week.

Now, did everyone remember to post their S/D fic at ff.net? Just saying...
