First off, OCTOBER is back which means I'm obviously doing a rec post again. :D!I'll be updating this list every week if possible or fit as many as I can in one post,we shall see!Hoho! Now onto reading,my loves!

RS-GAMES:
This year the theme in rs-games is 'perception:the five senses) and the competition is between Team MUGGLE vs. Team MAGIC

Team: Magic
Title: Oh, We Lost Magic
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: none
Summary: The year is 1985 and Sirius, Remus, James and Lily are working as EMTs in muggle London, living seemingly normal lives...except there's really an awful lot of weird things going on.
Why I recommend: The writing style! The interesting writing style, the originality really pulled me into the story, and the suspense was amazing, right from the beginning until the very end.

Team: Team Muggle
Title: Stay (please)
Rating: NC-17
Summary: He really should have known better than to fall in love with a prostitute. But as long as it feels real...
Why I recommend:First off, this is a beautiful artwork, just look at it and you'll know what I mean.Second, it made my heart hurt.

Team: Magic
Title: The Tides of What We Were.
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None, unless you have a phobia of bad metaphors, or a highly developed understanding of lighting.
Summary:No way of knowing what any man will do/And ocean of violence between me and you'
Why I recommend:It's  a detailed story, with lots of scenes and beautiful words that just broke my heart. Just look at those well-thought of drawings in every panel!

Team: Muggle
Title: Let's Be Alone Together
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Sirius was the kind of person Remus could read like an open book, and the story he read there was beautiful. But finding the true meaning of it, wasn't always easy.
Why I recommend:This is a sweet, sweet, youthful but with a hint at something beautiful between our lovely puppies kind of fic.Short but really worth a read.

Team: Magic
Title: Leave the Children Behind
Rating: R
Warnings: Sex, language
Summary: Sometimes, the bravest thing you can do is learn to let go of what you were, and fall in love with what you are. Remus, Sirius, and a series of choices.
Or, a love story-backwards and forwards.
Why I recommend:Because this is by far one of the best ever SBRL fics I've read, and I've read a lot of them, like really. This fic has everything,fluff,angst,love,heart-breaking moments, tearful moments. But most of all,the writer's use of words and descriptions!BRILLIANT!!

Team: Muggle
Title: What a Man Wants
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: Cursing and bad words, rimming, oral and anal sex, mutual masturbation (though it's only one sided, so I don't suppose it's 'mutual'.)
Summary: Remus Lupin is a late 19th century tenant farmer who has caught the eye of his Lordship's son, Sirius.
Why I recommend:The setting, the feelings, the atmosphere in this-WOW!The descriptions are vivid and so so good.

Team: Magic
Title: Home To You
Rating: PG-13 for subject matter (the artwork itself is super tame, but the rating guide for PG says "…and nobody dies". Alas.)
Warnings: Major Character Death (Canon) -> but it’s actually a kind-of-happy reunion picture :)
Why I recommend:It's an artwork worth looking at and loving. The use of colours and the feeling it evokes, they're enough reason to have a look at this piece.

Team: Muggle
Title: Within White Space
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Some cursing, some kissing, some Remus fantasizing about Sirius licking him in the dark.
Summary: Non-magic AU. Remus spends his all his lunch breaks the same way: he sits at the university cafe, orders the cheapest thing on the menu, and stares at Sirius. Getting a good long, look at Sirius (and fantasizing about said look) is all Remus expects from Sirius. But Sirius has never been one for fulfilling expectations.
Why I recommend:Because this fic is amusing, and so, so well written,Sirius is absolutely lovable and Remus is just too hug-worthy in this. The descriptions really make you feel and imagine every single moment in this exactly as it's written! I've read it twice already!

Team: Magic
Title: We Might Fall
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Angst
Summary: Behind the veil, Sirius unwrites his life, one electric light at a time.
Why I recommend:This story starts out with a strange but original idea and it really hooks you on to it with the what-if scenarios as Sirius keeps trying to change the past.I won't give out any more of the story, because it is so worth reading!Another one of the greatest fics this year.

Team: Muggle
Title: Thinking About You
Rating: PG13
Warnings: War themes, internal monologuing, Sirius’ foul mouth
Summary: Sometimes, waiting is the worst part.
Why I recommend:This is a sort of slice of life fic, with really vivid description that pulls you into the story with Remus and his waiting, beautifully written sentences and emotional.
