For Olympics = Sho

For some hot reason, our cable connection fails as of the moment. *cues a.Ra.Shi*

XDXDXD I am sick.

A storm has brewed itself in my part of the world you see, but it's not really the reason why I'm here blogging now, I think...

Because the reception we have is biased (ABS-CBN's signal is great, RPN's so-so, and one which shows a local basketball finals is kind of so-so too), I opted to watch RPN's coverage on the Olympics for, you guessed it, Sho, after waking up from a tiring sleep.

I didn't see him though. TT-TT.

What I saw was this long jump athlete who is a Filipino being interviewed because he just failed an attempt to enter the long jump finals. He was saying his sentimental on the lack of sports training Filipino athletes get, and he was crying! Right there and then I wanted to crush our government with all its backroom dealings and whatnot, but then I saw a lace around the man's neck...

... Stupid me actually thought he still got a medal or something, XD. But the cameraman-san thought he had to inform me I was stupid, yeah, so he zoomed out and what I saw was that the lace (Or should I call it lanyard now? Haha), had the identification of the Olympics' participants hung on it.

And then, my thoughts reverberated back to Sho and the fact that he has that identification with him as well, seeing his on News Zero's coverage stuff via Internet.

Goodness, I am sick. =')

Still, that long jump athlete's sorrow bothers me, still... I don't even care if what he's really aiming for is personal or national glory. Either way, they're both one and the same, right?
