So far no meltdowns.
Tanar got up to be Barry and some of the emails were hard to answer. We/he scheduled two jobs for Wednesday though, and now we're learning about work orders and ignoring an email from Dave.
I went to my meeting at SFU and left a post-it for Alli that said "Alli, I'm at school until 3:30, call Tanar if you need anything. Don't mess up the house". When I came back Alli had left the oven on again, but the mess was pretty low. Except for Zach's man cave, which is officially the cheesestring wrapper capital of the world.
I am shocked and dismayed at the amount of dishes gone through on a daily basis here. I've put the dishwasher through 3 times since yesterday. I made linguini with chicken and tomato sauce last night and it was delicious. I also fulfilled my parental role by asking Alli not to make special brownies in our house because of the smell mess. She excellently complied.
Zach went to the Canucks game last night and woke up this morning wearing only a McLean signed Canucks jersey. Apparently McLean was the goalie in 1994 when the Nucks went to the Stanley Cup Final. He bought it at an auction at the game for the obscene totally reasonable amount of $390. Zach told us he thinks he hooked up with a girl at the Blarney Stone last night, but he can't remember. He also said he spent $60 on 2 for 1 shots for himself. The shots are $6 for two, so that explains why he walked straight to the medicine cabinet this morning.
Alli, Tanar and I went to Paranormal Activity 2. It was pretty scary, scary enough for me to be unable to cross the hand threshold with Tanar. In mathematical terms, the hand threshold is where holding hands is a function of movie scariness, where the greater amount of scariness, the less hand holding. Alli showed us the extent of her sneakiness when I paid for her movie rental, the movie rental charges, and her movie theatre admission and she refused to pay for popcorn.
Barry and Glenda sent an email saying they were in "Janaica", so they probably had pina coladas and marijuana on the plane. Or Barry was typing on his blackberry and the M and N are too close together, but I prefer the former.
